What does accreditation mean?
Accreditation means that the Apple has certified that Summit Kids Academy meets a higher, national standard for quality care and education that required by regulation. Few programs achieve this distinction.
Apple (https://www.faccm.org/about-apple) is the largest early childhood accreditation agency in Florida and is nationally recognized. Their mission is to encourage quality and recognize excellence in delivering high quality childcare.
To achieve accreditation, Summit Kids Academy completed a rigorous process of self-study (including parent and staff surveys), a verification visit by early childhood education/child care professionals, and a final review by the Apple Review Team.
Standards of quality including administration, staff development and the working environment, the developmental program, outdoor and indoor environments, health and safety, and parent and community relations.
